1Will the tour take place if it rains?

Yes. The tour is designed to walk on sidewalks covered by balconies. We also enter historical buildings, where we explore their structure while providing historical information and narrating stories and legends. There are also stores along the way where the guide will provide opportunities to buy umbrellas. By the way, pictures of Old San Juan come out beautifully in the rain!

2.  Will I see anything at night?

Yes.  You will see beautiful sites. Tour was designed to walk on well lid side walks and we will enter interior patios.  Your tour guide will show you the beautiful sites to take places and provide you with tips when taking your pictures.  See the videos for an example of the atmosphere.  Read our satisfied customers letters.


3.  What type of transportation is available to Old San Juan in addition to a tour bus?

1. Bus line services one - way tariff is .75¢ per person.

2.  Taxi - Please call the Puerto Rico Tourism Company at 1-866-2GOTOPR or visit their webpage at http://www.gotopuertorico.com/puerto-rico-transportation.php#taxi  to check the current tariffs during your traveling dates. The phone number for the PRTC ground transportation office at the airport is +1-(787) 253-0418.
  
3. Car rental - Renting a car outside the airport will avoid paying a 10% airport tax.

4.  Does the tour includes visiting a fort?

The fort closes at 5:00 p.m. and the tour begins at 6:00 p.m.

5.  How far do we walk on the tour?

The tour's walking distance is approximately 2 miles. We paid close attention when designing this tour to ensure a fun and comfortable walk. We walk on well lid sidewalks wherever possible, and restroom stops will be available at 2 different sites during the tour.

6.  Do you offer discounts to families?

Yes we do! No charge for children 5 years of age and younger.  All children and teens must be accompanied by a relative 21 years of age or older who has confirmed their reservation and notified us of the child or teen’s intended participation on the reservation form. Proof of age is required for both.  This offer only applies to a family or family group.

7.  Are there any days when the tour does not operate?

The tour does not operate on New Year's Day (January 1), Three King's Day (January 6), Good Friday - Holy Friday, July 4, September 15, Thanksgiving Day (USA), December 25 and 31st.

10.  Tips to make your walking tour at Old San Juan more pleasant.

  1. Replenish your energy with a well-balanced lunch, diner or healthy snack.
  2. Refresh yourself during the tour; bring a bottle of water with you.  Keep yourself hydrated.
  3. Wear proper shoes for walking up stairs, steep grades and pavement.
  4. Wear lightweight and light-colored cotton clothes to help avoid overheating
