Food tasting event description:

'Spirits of Puerto Rico" (formally known as San Juan Nights) is a rum and food tasting dinner experience extraordinaire!  Enjoy the social island life of a 16th century Spanish Colonial city - Old San Juan or at restaurant on the beach. Join us and get acquainted  with the rum and food culture of Puerto Rico.  As the evening progresses, your guide will teach you how to taste and differentiate between 8 different types of rum, served between each course of 'family style' or plated food.

Puerto Rico is the Rum Capital of the World! Your Puerto Rican guide will entertain you with historical and cultural stories and tales along with the dinner and rum tasting  experience. Our tour was designed with quality uppermost in our minds, not quantity. We have a maximum of 12 persons and a minimum of 4.  You must be over 23 years of age to participate.

No transportation included. Meet the tour guide at the restaurant: Instructions in how to meet with the tour guide at the restaurant will be provided on a tour voucher e-mail a week prior to the tour date.

Hours: (You will be sitting for 1.5 hours at a restaurant)
* 1.5 hours of rum tasting with dinner

Value for your money... Notice the amount of food, rum tasting and cocktails included for $85 p.p. Buying the rum only would cost you $105 p.p. add $50 p.p. for the food. It's a bargain taking this rum tasting tour with food for $85pp!

Food and drinks included: Food (four (4) plates and desert), 8 different rum samples during the tasting; in addition, Puerto Rico's traditional rum shot and 2 different pre-selected rum cocktails.

Dress Code:  Wear semi casual attire.  NO shorts, NO sleeveless shirt, NO T-shirts, NO beach or sports sandals

Tour ends at the restaurant

Weather:  Tour takes place rain or shine.

Included: Services provided by a tourist guide, gratuity for waiters and bartenders. Souvenirs.
