Our Tours

Some have a book guide on hand, which is an excellent reference source to acquire general information on the country. Many travelers who have opted for the book has spent most of their walking time reading; therefore, diverting their attention from what they came to see and experience because they where reading instead of seeing.  Everyone looks forward to having fun and relaxing during their vacation. Spend your touring time with a professional that will allow you to see more things and have more fun than just reading a book. 

On a bus tour you will pass by the monuments, and your vision will be limited to the angle and size of the tour bus’ window. The driver has to pay attention to traffic while trying to present basic scripted information.  On the other hand, a tourist guide that only concentrate on you will be able to provide the information face-to-face, answer all your questions, relate some amusing stories and help you take pictures.  While the bus service is better for passengers that have physical limitations, there is no substitute for walking.

For those that take a bus or van tour, I recommend walking through the old city with a professional guide. A day or night walking tour provides you the opportunity to stop and listen while your guide talks of the legends and history associated with the internationally recognized monuments and streets you will be seeing up-close.  Great photo opportunities are possible while walking with your tour guide and at places that have influenced the history of Puerto Rico and the Western Hemisphere.

Many tourists who have taken a day or night walking tours have decided to stay at the Old City for lunch, diner, shopping and to watch shows scheduled at the plazas rather than return to their hotels immediately after the tour. They want to experience the Old City to It’s fullest by going inside buildings, interior patios and taking the time to closely examine statues and monuments. Old San Juan is best seen and appreciated on foot. The buildings are very close to the narrow streets and your view would be limited by the angle and size of a tour bus’ window.

Those who take a bus tour and decide to stay at Old San Juan, have to pay for additional transportation such as a taxi to return to the hotel or cruise ship. This type of tour picks you up, drives you through the city providing general information and returns to the hotel.  A walking tour allows you to take the time to experience the Old City's culture up-close.
