Booking Guide

It is important to us you have a pleasant on-line booking experience.  This guide describes the 3 bookings and payment options.

• You are not required to have an account with us to make a payment. - When checking out click on the link: "Place Order Without Account".

• Tour voucher - Your tour voucher is the receipt with directions in how to meet with your the tourist guide. Check your E-mail box.

• All on line payment information is protected with a 128-bit encryption.
  (To confirm that your transaction is safe at our Booking Center, the browser has https:// in the URL field and some shows a lock on the bottom right.)

1.  Pay by Phone with Pre-Booking

3.  Print, complete and send us the Fax Reservation Form.
4.  Quotation for groups or VIP:  travel agents, tour operators, meeting planners, family, associations, etc.

For travelers who prefers to make payments by phone with on line pre-booking.
Puerto Rico's telephone companies and rates are the same as the United States.

• We accept VISA and Master Card     with Pay by Phone and Pre-Booking option.

• The currency that we use for our transactions is the United States dollar - USD.

• We manually process VISA and Master Cards in our offices. 

1. Complete the on-line booking form with a "make believe" credit card information.

• Enter your Name
• Enter 16 digits beginning in the Card Number field.  The first number should be 4.
• Select an Expiration Date for the year 2007.

2. Call us at 1-787-605-9060 with your invoice number and the Credit Card information and Card Verification Number.
   (The Verification number is a 3-digit number printed on the back of your card. It appears after and to the right of your card number.)

The advantage of completing the on-line booking form is that you will secure your spot for the tour and the date you want without providing your credit card information on the Internet.

1. Your Pre-Booking request will ONLY be hold for 1 day. 
2. You will receive an instant pre-booking E-mail.
3. Notification of credit card approved or declined will be E-mail within 24 hours after you call us at 1-787-605-9060.
4. The tour voucher will be E-mail when your credit card is approved and the tour and date requested is available.

For travelers who prefers an instant booking and payment transaction.

Your tour voucher

• A descriptive booking confirmation will be automatically e-mail to you when you complete the booking process. A second e-mail in how to Meet with your Tourist Guide will be sent, print and bring with you to the tour.

 We accept      for reservations made by fax and postal mail.

The currency that we use for our transactions is the United States dollar.

• Print, complete and send us the Fax Reservation Form.

1. Look for the BOOKING OPTIONS section, select your preferred payment method and click the link..

2. Double check the days the tour is offered and type in the date in the box. For example, July 1, 2005

3. Type in a minimum of 2 in the Quantity box. [It is required a reservation for two people to book on-line.]

4. Click on the "Add to Cart" button.

5. You may sign up on more tours by clicking on the "Tour List" tab or click for an option at the left menu.

6. Click on the provided link for the tour's details.

7. Revise and/or make changes in your booking cart, as many times you wish, by clicking on the View your Cart link.

8. Click on Checkout in the menu bar at the top.

9. Click on Create New Account or Place Order Without Account.

10. Double check the booking cart content and complete the booking form.

Cancellation policy for walking tours only booked by independent travellers (None private tour) - A 50% refund to customer when a cruise ship docks in the San Juan Port after the walking tour's starting schedule. We have reserved and guaranteed the date and schedule for the customer; therefore, not accepting business from other clients. No refund for customers that decides to join the group when the cruise ship docks in the San Juan Port after the walking tour's starting schedule. Customer will refer to the instructions provided on the tour voucher regarding how to contact the guide and join the group.

Cancellation policy in General –

1. Walking, bus tour and transportation service takes place rain or shine.
2. Will not accept customers in our tours under the influence of alcohol and will not be refunded.
3. Legends of Puerto Rico’s goals are that all participants have an enjoyable and tranquil experience during our tours; for such reason, we reserve the right of admission.
4. Will not refund on the day of the tour, for NO-show and late arrivals, client decides to leave the tour, does not find the tour's or transportation departure location because did not print nor follow the instructions specified on the tour's voucher.
5. Full refund if customer cancels for any reason 10 days prior to the tour's date.

Cancellation policy for private tours with transportation -

Flight cancellations –

1. Full refund if the flight is cancelled due to weather conditions.

Flight delayed –

1. We monitor the flights and our staff will meet and greet the passengers at the real arrival time. No refund available because the tour or transportation service will be modified in according to the arrival time, accessibility to the sites and to the cruise ship’s boarding schedule. 

Cruise ship cancellations –

1. Full refund to customer if customer misses excursion because the cruise ship fails to dock in San Juan on scheduled date.

Cruise ship delayed –

1. We monitor the cruise ships and our staff will meet and greet the passengers at the real arrival time. No refund available because the tour will be modified in according to the time, accessibility to the sites and to the cruise ship’s boarding schedule. 

Guests late arrival –

1. The schedule will not be extended due to the client’s late arrival at the departure location at the hotel; the service ends at the time scheduled when the reservation was confirmed.
2. The schedule will not be extended due to the client’s late arrival at the departure location at the Pier when the ship docked prior or prompt in according on the original time scheduled; the service ends at the time scheduled when the reservation was confirmed.

Weather conditions –

1. While the service is in progress, cancellations due to weather conditions are solely at the discretion of the driver or tour guide. A 50% refund will be made if the service is cancelled due to severe weather conditions.
2. Full refund if the tour or transfer service is cancelled prior to commencing the service due to severe weather conditions.

• Confirmation of reservations are conditioned to availability of space and full payment.
• You may call us at +1-787-605-9060 prior to reserving on-line to learn about the status on a specific date.
• In case the desired tour date is full, we will E-mail you the next available date for your approval. A full refund will be credited onto your credit card account if their is no available date.
